Description:

Microsoft Teams is a platform that allows groups/people to communicate digitally. It is designed for teamwork, collaboration, and communication. Teams uses messages, video calls, and sharing/communicating.

Here is a link to help navigate the Teams platform: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/teams

Ease of Use:

I would give ease of use a 7/10. While Teams has plenty of different avenues of use it can be slightly confusing to figure out all of them. While using teams it gets easier to figure out with hands on experience and can be a very efficient form off communication.

Versatility:

I give Teams a 9/10 for versatility. Due to a lot of different uses being put in one place it can be used in many different settings and environments. It can be used on large and small scales as well. On the home page a few examples of the function of this platform include:

- Online Meetings
- Teams Phone
- File Sharing
- Teams Rooms

Use it?:

I would give Teams a 6/10 for using in the classroom. Teams can certainly be used with parents, co-workers, support groups, etc. It may be a little difficult to use with students depending on their age. It can be used with student by there video calling or by sending announcements to students.

Conceptual Connection:

This week we talked about TLC framework. Microsoft Teams can be used in the C (Communication). This is a great way to connect and communicate on multiple different levels. This can me implemented with all stake holders when it comes to education. This could include parents, students, counselors, administration, etc.
